Tractor Mural

Tarin had me paint this Tractor Mural for her son, Rhys.  They live just outside of London, Ontario, close to many farms, but live in the suburbs themselves.  Every time they drive by a tractor or farm animals, their toddler begs them to move to a farm.  Obviously, this wasn’t possible but she wanted to celebrate his passion and grow his imaginative play.

My murals become part of the family

I hear from my past clients all the time that their kids name the animals in their murals, have to say goodnight to them and they become part of their imaginative play.  That’s one of the reasons I like painting parts of my murals low to the ground, like in this tractor mural, so that toddlers can actually touch them and see them up close.

They can be customized

One of the great things about having a hand-painted mural is that it can be customized just for your family.  Rhys wasn’t just obsessed with any old tractor – it was specifically green, John Deere tractors.  And his fave farm animals were only pink pigs and baby ducks.  So his mom only had me paint the things he truly loves.

I offer free consultations

I wouldn’t have known that Rhys’ favourite farm animal is a pig without first offering a free consultation with his mom.  This is when we chat about the things that your kids love – their favourite colours, animals, songs, whatever!  I also learn about the room and wall size, other colours in the space and what furniture I need to paint around.

I paint all my murals with non-toxic acrylic paint and no-VOC latex paint, so it’s safe for your kids to play in their rooms – even the day I finish the mural!

I’ve been painting kids murals since 2005

I know whenever you hire someone to work on your house, you expect a top quality job by someone who shows up on time and on the day they say they will.  My clients know that’s exactly what they get with me because I’ve been painting kids murals since 2005 – so I have a ton of experience.  I only book one job per week so I don’t have to rush and leaves me plenty of time to make changes on the fly if we need to.
